CHRISTINE STODDARD
Christine Sloan Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American artist originally from Virginia. Her work spans creative writing, photography, video, sculpture, installation, and illustration. Working in both individual and community contexts, Stoddard has been the artist-in-residence at Annmarie Sculpture Garden, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, the Brooklyn Public Library's Eastern Parkway Branch, and elsewhere. She has presented her work at the Queens Museum, the New York Transit Museum, the Poe Museum, the Waveland Ground Zero Hurricane Museum, and beyond. She is the founding editor of Quail Bell Magazine and the author of several books, including Water for the Cactus Woman (Spuyten Duyvil Press).
